Privacy Policy

Plain-English version: we store only what's needed to sync your orders, we never sell your data, and your order data lives in your own Google Sheet - not on our servers.

1. Who we are

Fetch Order Tracking ("we", "us", "our") provides a web tool that syncs eBay orders and AliExpress tracking into a Google Sheet you own. This policy explains what data we handle and why. Questions? Email info@fetchordertracking.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account details - your client ID, display name, login password (stored hashed/secured), and the email you contact us from.
  • OAuth tokens - access and refresh tokens for eBay and AliExpress, which you authorise. These are encrypted at rest. We never see or store your eBay/AliExpress passwords.
  • Sheet configuration - the Google Sheet ID(s) and tab names you connect, so we can write order data to the right place.
  • Operational metadata - last-sync timestamps, order counts, and error logs used to keep the service working.
  • Contact submissions - if you use our contact form, we keep the name, email, optional WhatsApp, subject, message, IP and user-agent so we can reply.

3. What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not keep a copy of your order data on our servers - when you run a sync, order data is read from eBay/AliExpress and written directly into your Google Sheet.
  • We do not access your eBay/AliExpress password - access is via OAuth only.

4. How we use your data

We use the data above only to: authenticate you, connect your eBay store and AliExpress account, fetch orders and tracking on your instruction, write results to your Google Sheet, provide support, and bill for active sheets. That's it.

5. Third-party services

To deliver the service we interact with:

  • eBay (Fulfillment & Finances APIs) - to read your orders and true net earnings.
  • AliExpress (Dropshipping / Open Platform API) - to read tracking, carrier, delivery dates, and refund state.
  • Google Sheets - the destination for your synced data, owned by your Google account.
  • Hosting & email - our web host and mail provider process data on our behalf to run the site and send transactional email.
  • Analytics - privacy-respecting site analytics (e.g. Google Analytics / Tag Manager) to understand usage in aggregate.

Your use of eBay, AliExpress, and Google is also governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Advertising

Blog articles on this site (fetchordertracking.com/blog/) may display ads served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners. The core product - the dashboard you use to sync orders - does not carry ads.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. This can include personalized advertising based on your prior visits, unless you opt out.

If you're visiting from the UK or EEA, a consent banner appears on your first visit to this site asking whether you accept ad personalization and analytics cookies. Ads may still be shown if you decline, but without personalization based on your browsing history. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and configuration for as long as your account is active. OAuth tokens are removed when you disconnect a store or delete your account. Contact-form messages are retained for support and record-keeping. You can request deletion at any time (see section 9).

8. Security

OAuth tokens and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest, traffic is served over HTTPS, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information. To report a vulnerability, see our security.txt.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to disconnect any connected accounts. Email info@fetchordertracking.com and we'll action it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and for the advertising described in section 6. You can control cookies in your browser settings, or via the consent banner and the "Cookie preferences" footer link; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
